IN THEE, I SEEK REFUGE

Lord,

King of all,

I knee seeking refuge in Thee

From evil of darkening deed

That has casted its wings on me

Leading me astray from Your path

O, Master of the day of requital

God of all,

I knee seeking refuge in Thee

To learn sacrifice and endurance

As instrument to gain peace

Cast hatred away with love

Lock vengeance with a forgive

Eliminate doubt with Iman of strong faith

O, Divine master

I knee seeking refuge in thee

When despair beguiles, show me hope

When darkness falls, show me light

When sadness comes, show me contentment

When I am lost, show me the way

O, Lord of all the worlds

Most affectionate and merciful

In Thee, I surrender

Heart and soul

MY ANGEL

Today is about my little cute sweet nephew... No idea to write at the moment and I happened to miss him so much...his laughters and little juveniele... He's two years and 2 months old by now. His vocabulary is increasing tremendously ...and he likes to draw in anything he found with his pencil...wall, bycycle, books are now his objects to draw on... He has one small bycycle which he loves to play with...not yet able to ride it, so he just walk and run while pushing the bike. He still drinks his milk in his little bottle.

Those photos were taken when we took him to visit Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (Indonesia Miniature Park). We took him to to fresh water aquarium park where there various fresh water fishes. Also there were various butterflies living in Indonesia being displayed. He had great time there...running to and fro among the tanks...sometimes, trying to cath the fish, lol. It needed extra energy to follow him around.

He's like an underwater prince with all those tank fishes, lol.

Month of Serenity

Ramadhan,

A blessed month of all

In this holy month lies a night

That is better than a thousand months

When Gabriel and all angels bow their heads

The stars and comets dance in celebration

The moon sends its bright light

The universe sink in solemn dzikir

To welcome most precious night

Ramadhan,

Most glorious month of all

Full of mercy and love of the Divine

A Purification for the soul

In fasting, completely surrendering heart and spirit

Solely to The Most merciful

Hoping to cast away sins of the past

To start anew with strengthened Iman

Ramadhan,

Most cherished gift of the Divine

For mankind to redeem and repent

Most precious time not to waste in vain

But to praise His name in asmaul husna

Within this month of love

lies serenity and peace

I AM ON PALU

This day, I had a chance to peep on my mulitply...I've been away since Sunday to travel to Palu. It's the capital of Central Sulawesi...yeah, it's a very far far away from home...it took three hours by plane from Jakarta. The flight reminded me of my previous travel to Ambon.

This time, the trip was not as fun as I expected or at least OK like the other trips... the accomodation, the tension, and so on and so on. Still, I like the weather and the scenery... The weather was mild...unlike its common weather that was reknowned as the hottest place in Indonesia...considering it situated right below the equator line (?).

I miss home already right now... and off course I miss reading my MP friends' blog...cant wait to get home soon...I'll fly home this Saturday morning...and will write a lot about the trip.... :-)

Tapi harapan berubah menjadi kesedihan.

RT: "Teteh, ini Rita."

YH : "Oh, iya Mbak Rita, gimana usahanya? dah jualan sayur sekarang?"

RT: "Gini Teh, Rita pengin bicara langsung biar ngobrolnya enak. Kalau bicara di telpon takut ntar habis banyak. Atau Rita ke rumah teteh aja yach?"

(aduh, makin gak enak ini hati...masih maksa lagi)

YH: "telpon lokal gak habis banyak Mbak."

RT: "Gini teh, kemarin kan teteh kasih uang buat modal jualan sayur yach.

YH: "Yach, gimana sih Mbak.

RT: "Iyah, teh. Makanya Rita tlp. bisa gak teteh bantu lagi."

(Waduh, kok bisa-bisanya baru telepon sekarang padahal kejadian dah seminggu lalu.

Akhirnya mulai percakapan kami.

THE MUMMY : TOMB OF THE DRAGON EMPIRE

First, I expected The Mummy 3: Tomb of the Dragon Empire would be as good as its two first series...at least as their equal. I had watched its thriller, and it looked great with the additional of Asian movie stars, Jet Li and Michelle Yeoh.

But after seeing the movie myself, I felt dissappointed. It left out the suspense and the thriller details. There's no breathtaking puzzles or mysteries in discovering the tomb of the emperor. I also preffered the decaying half-dead look of the mummy (imhotep) in its two previous films...and not like a dead mummy fully-there look of Jet Li. Everything was 'easy' and lacked of chemistry. The character of Ivy was also changed tremendously. But the acting of Jet Li as the bad guy was qute good compared to the rest of the casts.

This time, Alex O'Conell discovered a two thousands burried old mummy of the Emperor Han of the Qin dynasty. Under a point of gun, Ivy casted the spell that awakened the evil emperor, who instantly wanted to regain control of his terracota army.

The chase begun between the two sides up to Himalayan Mountain where three Yetis gave a help of the O'Connel group...and bla...bla...bla...until the resurrected emperor was sent back to the underworld.I still wandered what was the significance of the 'paradise' in the middle of nowhere in the movie.

The only fascinating moment for me was when Jet Li (the emperor) transformed himself into three headed dragon and flew away... he could change shape in any form he wanted.

Yet, I like the idea of the shangrilla in which lies the water of immortality...the elixir of life that denies death...a mystery that any emperor chase to live immortal...an irony ...
