Lost Promises

Waves came crashing upon shores,


Dancing in melancholy blues,

Gently the moon laid her tender kiss,

And the stars formed a patch of silver dusts,

Brighten up the dark skies with colors,

Yet, the sea is still roaring in torment,

Casting fears over the night,





Under the shade of the full moon,

We stood in stillness,

As the ocean played its somber rhythms,

And seagull shrieked in cries,

Our tears frozen into misty pearls,

Rolling down to the watery sands,

Over our lost promises
