Everyday's Struggle

If you think your problem is the biggest one or you are the most miserable person on earth...then think again. There are many people, thousands of them, millions of them are living in hell. They don't enjoy such comfort like us...they don't feel as secure as us...they could not walk or sleep freely without any worries that within instant life slips away.

This morning just looked at a video from a friend about the palestinians life during the blockage that is imposed by the israelis. It's heartbreaking to those innocent children crowded in the refugees camp or in the shattered houses. A six or seven year old girl questioned on how people, israelis, let her live that way. Her house, dolls, clothes were burnt. She was always live in fear even in the sleep in case a missile struck her home. The smell of gas were everywhere. A young as she was, she already tasted the bitterness of hatred and war. She grown up before her time...an anger flickered in her eyes ...so with the eyes of other Palestinians children that were forced to live in such condition...life that was full of fear, insecure and lack of food. They were so young but they have learnt the bitterness of war...a world that had turned its back on their fate. Their only hope lied within themselves...a struggle with any means to free themselves...

Total blockage hampered the live in Gaza strip and around. Shortage of food, energy, electricity, other basic neccessities threatened their life. Though many aids had been directed to the Palestinians, but they could not cross the border as it was highly guarded by the Israelis. The massive attack was still carried. And where is the world power? As usual, when it comes to Palestinian affair, they shut their eyes and heart. And the it's a daily struggle for the Palestinians.

Wow! You are a fan of Torey Hayden? I have known many of her books. I have not read much. I had a friend, a teacher that loved her writing. What a delight! and so is your blog.
