Ramadhan,
A blessed month of all
In this holy month lies a night
That is better than a thousand months
When Gabriel and all angels bow their heads
The stars and comets dance in celebration
The moon sends its bright light
The universe sink in solemn dzikir
To welcome most precious night
Ramadhan,
Most glorious month of all
Full of mercy and love of the Divine
A Purification for the soul
In fasting, completely surrendering heart and spirit
Solely to The Most merciful
Hoping to cast away sins of the past
To start anew with strengthened Iman
Ramadhan,
Most cherished gift of the Divine
For mankind to redeem and repent
Most precious time not to waste in vain
But to praise His name in asmaul husna
Within this month of love
lies serenity and peace
