The Night Song

As the night visited mother earth

the skies turned into majestic black

painted by twinkling little stars

that danced merrily around yellowish crescent

sent a wave of tender light accross the galaxy

Fireflies flashed their lamp

buzzing in the air in most graceful moves

accompanied by nightingale songs

crickets composed a wonderful melody

tried so hard to draw attention of othe night creatures

Frogs toddled and hopped frenzily

too afraid being left out of the party

And here i was standing in an old hut

amids the vast ricefields

witnessed the night that was full of wonders

absorbing every sound sent by night insects

that formed a perfect harmony

A beauty that is often taken for granted

A drawing that is laid right in front the eyes
